Now, where’d I put that stuff…
You know, I try to keep politics out of this thing. I have enough to complain about, and piss off enough people just talking about everyday life. But I am really saddened and disgusted by what is going on around here.
Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld, Cheney, they took us for a ride.
Please tell me how Powell can show detailed pictures of “known chemical munitions factories”, scaring the world (well the gullible US citizenry, apparently) with visions of truckloads of anthrax heading to a mall near you, and then after we go in and take over, we can’t sniff up a single gram of the shit?
I was in support of the invasion, of removing the Wacky Iraqi, based on the Powell’s assertions that they were making, and in possesion of, Bad Stuff. But it’s all a crock. The United States has invaded a country and siezed its oil production resources. I haven’t seen anything like this since, uh, Iraq invaded Kuwait!
And I’m sick and tired of being bullied by the right, accused of being un-American for distrusting our government and questioning its motives. You don’t agree, you think the stuff was there, you actually think Iraq had anything to do with 9/11, fine. I don’t. And that does not make me un-American. It means I’m a thinking member of society, who does not choose to believe everything spoon fed to me by a manipulated media. Maybe you should look in the mirror.
Have a look at this, and then keep your eyes peeled to that site for more news and clarifications, as this continues to unfold. ‘Specially since you won’t find about it from the majors; tomorrow’s “vote” marks the the beginning of even more control over what we read, see and hear, by exactly the same kind pf people who are running this country like it was a game of Risk.
