Begbie
Begbie was my friends’ dog. Wait, no, he was a SuperDog. And he was their kid, in much the same way Emma is Brenda’s and mine. Unfortunately, Begbie had cancer, and despite battling it like the SuperDog he was, he ultimately decided it was time to concede defeat. Last week, my friends Bill and Lauren had to make that painful decision to euthanize their kid. Lauren sent me some words and some links to pictures, a fond remembrance of their dear departed Begbie. And I just posted it to my site. It was my honor. Go have a look; if you didn’t like Scotties before, you will after this:

I didn’t know Begbie, but it makes me very sad anytime someone loses their “furkid,” their special little (sometimes not so little)... furry… loved one.
All my sympathies go out to your friends Bill and Lauren.
Kimberley and I had to make the painful decision to help our little guy Pedro on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge on June 11th. We miss him greatly.

Please forward this link to Lauren & Bill. I am sure they know about the Rainbow Bridge. Bob & I have three dogs waiting for us at The Bridge. I send them my sympathies. They should take comfort knowing they were able to relieve Begbie’s pain. Humans should be so fortunate.
