Ahh the hell with it. Just call the race now. It’s a total sham. All my favourite sports have been ruined by doping.

Barry Bonds is going to “break” Hank Aaron’s record. Was Aaron an arrogant steroid user? Can that be the notation next to Bonds’ record? Arrogant Steroid User

I’ve suggested it before. Since most athletes seem to want to cheat, why not let them use any drug they want? Let’s see what better living through chemicals can really do!

Several years ago we had the Ontario “All Natural” Bodybuilding Championships here at my theatre. Can anyone tell me how it is that a woman with fake boobs won the woman’s division?

Rob, let’s get a team entered in the TdF next year. If we play our cards right, everyone will be disqualified by the time we get to Paris and one of us will end up on the podium with those pretty ladies in yellow. :-)

Update: Rassmusen has been kicked off the Rabobank team and out of the tour for lying about his whereabouts when he missed those off season tests.

Is that going to be the pattern from now on - whenever somebody does way better than expected, you wait a few days and he gets caught cheating? Who next? Soler? Contador?

Unfortunately, Contador missed his chance in the previous stage. Too much cat-and-mouse, I think. Anyway, give Rasmussen credit—but of course he is suspected too due to missing some tests. It’s too bad about the doping but for me, the mountain stages are still very exciting.

I’m aware of that, Paul. He also tested positive for a transfusion, not testosterone. But it’s a similar pattern, is all.

Actually, the positive doping test was for the time trial, not the mountain stage win.

But in spite of this, it’s been a pretty amazing tour. The Rasmussen/Contador show has been amazing so far and I can’t wait to see Contador crack him like a nut today.
