As for adopting from the local shelter, you know how much I support that, too. There are so many wonderful animals ready to share their love and I am sure you & Brenda will find the right ones soon. I would also suggest checking out your local vet's office. Ours always has fliers on the bulltin board detailing those in need of a good home. You can often get a better animal history and sometimes they have a pair to be adopted together. I can't wait to see pictures!
