I worked with your grandma Lee Guglielmetti at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 3 years from 1978- 81. I always remembered her warmth . her wisdom, her sense of humor and her infectious laugh.
She always spoke her her family so lovingly. She seemed to be the point of reference for you all.
I am saddened to learn that her son passed away . I remember he was a successful advertsing man.
I can see Lee in my minds eye today.. indeed I too am saddened that she left this earth - though her memory will live on.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Rob, you sure made the ex-daughter-in-law turn on the waterworks. Could barely read thru the tears. Yes, she was all that and a saint to boot. You and Christina were lucky to have her in your lives. I do not have the years of memorable incidents that you both were lucky enough to have, but, I too will miss her and savor the memories I was lucky to have.

Your eulogy was beautiful - simple, funny and touching- a lot like Grandma. She loved you & your sister with all her heart & was very proud of every achievement - except flying. She thought you were crazy. You are right - she did have a good run; but, it is still hard to accept the fact that she won't be offering any of us a "nice" cup of coffee or sitting at our holiday table anymore. Reality is beginning to set in. I miss her too. That's what family is for. I love you honey & thanks for all you did for her.

My brother's eloquent words, and their heartfelt delivery, moved many of us to shed more tears Monday. The tears are spilling as I read this post because Lena left a big void. Rob and I were truly fortunate to have had her as our Grandma for so many years. I love you Grandma and miss you so much it hurts.
